Hey...I don't mind the grind...I don't even mind the PRICE you pay FOR the new armor. What I DO mind is that YOU as the player do not have the choice of armor that YOU want in the HALL OF MONUMENTS. I worked long and hard for the SILVER EAGLE armor...AND paid a pretty price for it..... and yet I will not be able to showcase it in the Hall to be used later by any descendants in GW2. How fair is that? I have several elite armors...but some not elite.......that I PREFER over the elite design. SHOULDN'T it be OUR choice of armor that WE want in there and not ANET. After all.....WE.... did all the work to get it no matter WHAT armor it is. That goes for weapons as well I think. What difference does it make to ANET. I LOVE GW...but this particular area should be OUR decision not theirs. If you are going to allow us to brag to our descendants about our accomplishments...then shouldn't it be the ONES we chose to accomplish and not the ones we HAD to do just so we could pass things along?

To the above poster - I agree. I have elite luxon armour for my warrior but in truth I prefer , and spend most of my time in , by basic kurzick armour.
I intend to get rank 5 in Asura to get the warrior armour so I can display it in the HoM because it looks so much like the armour I already have. The character's descendants will be able so see what their distant relative actually wore most of the time (well something very close to it)

Yes, because reviewers opinions are obviously so much better than our own. /sarcasm

It's been said a million times, but it bears repeating: Grinding for armor is nothing new in Guild Wars.

Grinding for Title Tracks is nothing new.

Grinding for skills has been around since Nightfall. (or, does everyone have max Lightbringer?)

The funny thing is, the players and the press didn't have a problem with the little bit that was put in. When they created GWEN, it became ONLY GRIND. So, with no real content, that is what we got.

As of the reviewers comments. If it was one, you may be right, 2 possibly right, 3 you may have a chance. With the number of reviewers giving it a less then stellar review, think maybe you are the type of player that likes GRIND for GRIND sake and take reward in it. GWEN fits perfectly into that formula for the C, spacebar crowd.
